For all of my kids, I have done the 3 day potty training method. Well, sort of. Some things I disagreed with. Some things we changed a bit. But in the end, all three of our children were potty trained in a fairly painless fashion. So here are my 3 day potty training tips.
Essential oils for potty training. Now before you get all excited, there is no oil that is going to magically train your child. Sorry. (I know, I was disappointed too.) But there are oils that can aid you and your child to have a better experience with what can be a stressful life event. You could be surprised though, it could go much smoother than you expected! I’ve definitely had some of my kids just “get it” way faster than I expected. So before I share about essential oils for potty training, I did want to leave you with that little piece of encouragement.
Peace and Calming II Essential Oil is a beautiful, refreshing scent that helps clear and calm the mind. It’s an oil that I reach for on the days where I’m struggling to reign in my thoughts and emotions, or when I am desperately looking for sleep to come. There are hundreds of times in the course of life that I can say Peace and Calming II is a good oil to use. (Whether or not I actually remember to use it all those times – that’s to be debated. But when I do? It’s wonderful.)
Gentle Baby Essential Oil is an oil that was introduced to me when my oldest was still quite young. However, I wish I had known about this oil when he was even younger! It is a game-changer for moms to help calm and soothe their children. It is one of my daily essential oils. My children know that it is not bedtime unless this oil has been applied!
Valor Essential Oil is a must have for many when it comes to emotional support oils. When the earthquake hit our area, it was one of the oils that helped me make it through the first few days. It helped me stay grounded and calm, and helped keep my mind from being as run over with worst-case-scenario thoughts. (Trust me, I still had some – this just helped keep them a little in check!)
